Sold my game!

So happie today! earned 90 bucks from selling my Maple Story account. This game is super lame but addictive. Dunno why.. I don't recommend anyone to play it cos it's hard to level at higher levels.. It's boring yet addictive.. That is something amazing bout this game.

The best part is, if u r a fast player, like u can get to lv 50 in 1 month, u can sell your character for some cash to compensate ur wasted precious time.. There's always a demand for it..

Prelims

I was actually late for econs exam today. Bus 75 broke down juz 1 stop before mine. Heck, have to wait for another 15 minutes. Eventually I was late by 5 minutes. But all ended well, I managed to finish the paper.

Yesterday spoke to my pbf friend, and guess what he told me. "I think of quitting school.." What!! quitting? I first thought he had some problems. But no. He told me he earned $25000 in 2 months in shares (derivitives market to be exact). Like so easy to earn.. However he has been trading for around 3 years. Of course there's bound to be losses. But he netted a clean profit of 25k. Later on he told me that it was just a thought, so not really going to quit school, just a sudden thought. U noe, u start making plans with the 25k, how to spread it out over the nx few months, what to invest in, stuff like that makes u lose interest in studying. Some may think that what's the point in studying when i can sit down at home and make a few grands? Well, I always believe that money doesn't come to you easily, especially at this point in time.

I'm very happy with the life I'm leading right now, and I have some to share it with. I'm working part time now, so does Alvin. Somehow there is this feeling that is so gratifying and rewarding. It doesn't matter what job you are taking, as long as you earn an income legally, I think it's an achievement. You pay your own bills, your own food, your own stuffs. I guess it's pretty important for everyone to experience this as it teaches you how to manage your money well in order to sustain yourself. I stopped getting allowance from my parents or my uncle. Of course, my school fees are still 'subsidised' by my parents as the mere sum i earned will never be able to cover the cost of my studies. However, being able to see yourself through day by day on your own cash is nevertheless one of the most rewarding moment in your life.
